A good result for me. We are certainly getting our fair share of injuries at the moment, yet we are still playing and getting good results on the road. Need a home win on Saturday though.

Carroll's best performance since he came back for me.
He had a difficult first half with too many aimless long balls fired into him (Smalling was lapping 'em up). I presume Slav had a word as there was a definite change in the 2nd half with more balls into his feet and chest. Some lovely lay offs, took a lot of pressure off.
BTW, it was a 433, not two up front.

I wonder how many games we're going to see with the "dream team" of Song, Lanzini, Kouyate and Payet all fit and available.
Ten games up to the end of the season should be the plan at HQ.

That's nice to hear. Did the formation suit him or was he just actually playing better? I'm always trying to work out if he makes sense for the way our team should be playing.

Thought we were excellent, should have won really. Reid and Ogbonna standouts, along with Noble.
Great day as well, good atmosphere

Didn't see the game but how was caroll?
I've been against him starting for us being that he plays like he's in a mobility scooter. However, I thought that if we played two up front so we didn't need caroll to run so much it might work.
Seems like we played two up. Did it work or was he still running like he had a free Buss pass?

So can we assume there is life after Payet ? I'm a little worried that 80 per cent of WHO ers won't find an excuse to have a go at the manager .

Can't wait to see a midfield of Song, Lanzini, Kouyate an Payet. With the back line looking solid now all we'd really lack is a consistent goal scorer.

Just looked at a pic and you're right. I'd only seen it from my seat. The kit he was wearing hadn't been seen anywhere before? Not in the official shop...

Thought the ratings were more accurate in The Mail (you can see them on Alan's news thread.)
Anyone who thought Blind was better than Reid yesterday needs to lay orf the crack pipe.
